Great weekend for shooting and another record turnout. Clear blue skies and temps in the 80's. There were 64 shooters on the range Sunday morning. We had some trouble getting people to paste and reset steel, but I hope it was just the early heat wave wearing you down and that you'll be in better shape next month. And those of you that ran the scoresheets, good job! I only had to add up 6 or 7 scores and that was a big help in getting 91 scoresheeets entered and the results posted to USPSA.org on Sunday night.

We had  88 shooters and 25 reshoots for a total of 113 guns. Also of note, we had five Ladies and two Juniors this month. Hopefully we can attract a few more each month.

Here's the breakdown by division:

We had seven (7) new shooters this month: Brian Cooper, Zach Slapak, Alan Barker, Alex Hostoffer, Vince Hostoffer, William J. Danso & Stephen Dickinson.

I think I found out why we have so many shooters this year. It seems that someone has created a Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Crooked-Creek-Pratical-Pistol/179456858797498 

Pre-registration worked pretty well. I had 33 shooters registered for the 8AM squad. If all of them had shown up before 8AM, we might have started even sooner. As it was, I started the shooters meeting at 8:30. So, to help move things along next month, you will need to be in line by 7:45 to shoot in the 8:00 AM squad.  Don't think you can show up late and get squeezed in. With this many shooters coming in, we have to get moving on time.

If you are sure that you will be coming out to shoot on the 8AM squad, then send an email to registration_AT_practicalpistol_DOT_net with REGISTRATION as the subject and include your name, USPSA number, division, Major/Minor and indicate if you are Super Senior, Senior, Junior, Law, Military, Female or none of the above. Get your request in by 6:00 PM on the Saturday of the match weekend and I will have your scoresheet waiting for you on Sunday morning. If you are sure that will also shoot in the late squad, then add that to your request as well.

If you want to shoot the Firecracker on Saturday, June 30 at 1PM with the CCPL squad, then get your application to me (email me for my address) by May 26.
