What a perfect weekend to shoot at Crooked Creek! We had 42 shooters and 13 reshoots for a total of 55 guns. Thanks very much to all who helped to set up and tear down.

We had two new shooters this month, John Griffith and Greg Lane.

A few more people have expressed interest in getting the Muff Sweats. I will order them by the dozen and sell them for $13.00 each. Or, you can order them directly from JR's Muff Sweats for $14.95 + S&H. Let me know by September 19th if you want a pair or two, and I'll have them ready for the October match.

I have noticed that a few of you have let your USPSA membership lapse. Not to complain, but I get a warning message that a shooter is expired as I enter your name into the match. So help me out, reduce my stress level and rejoin USPSA. You can rejoin at our match and shoot for free that month. See Bill at registration for an application.

Our next match will be on Sunday, October 9th at Crooked Creek in Hartsgrove. We'll start setup at 3:30 PM on Saturday, October 8th and you can shoot one gun afterwards. Signups for Sunday start at 8:00 AM with final registration at 1:00 PM.

Well, we don't know what is going on at Sherwin Shooting Sports yet. Has anyone been in their this year? We'll have to send Ed on a reconnaissance mission to see if the divider has been put up and if Sherwin's wants to bother with us or not. Also, I've only had two or three people ask about shooting this winter. I need more feedback than that. Do you want us to pursue getting range time at Sherwin's or not?
