We are holding a Level I Range Officer class on Saturday, April 2 (full day) and Sunday, April 3 (half day). Even if you never hold a timer and run shooters, this class will help you to understand the rules of USPSA and Steel Challenge.
But, we will need more certified Range Officers to run our monthly USPSA (3rd Sunday weekend) and Steel Challenge (4th Sunday) matches and I hope you will step up and volunteer.
Students must be current USPSA members and be classified in USPSA or SCSA, but you may renew or join online prior to registering for the seminar.  Students who are not classified will not be allowed to register via the system but can contact the Instructor and ask for an exception.  If the Instructor feels that they have enough match experience, the Instructor can add them to the class.

Age restrictions:
Juniors under the age of 13 may audit the seminar at no cost, space permitting, but cannot gain certification.
Juniors between 13 and 18 may attend and become certified, provided:
they are endorsed by at least 2 certified range officers that are not family members, (contact dnroi@uspsa.org for details)
are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the seminar, and
will be supervised by a parent or legal guardian while serving as a Range Official until they reach the age of 18.
The instructor will have the final say regarding certification, based on the student’s abilities and aptitude during the seminar.  Please note:  we cannot do delayed certifications.

Register for this seminar online by logging into uspsa.org,
then click here https://uspsa.org/seminars/details/322
This will take you to a link to download the electronic student guide and rule book, as well as work on the pre-seminar exercises.

There are standard conference room chairs provided in the clubhouse. Please bring your own chair if you wish to sit more comfortably for the class. Lunch will be provided on Saturday.
The club is located in northeast Ohio, Ashtabula County.
