Another great weekend for shooting. A little cloud cover kept the temperatures down on Sunday morning, but they cleared out for the afternoon. Summer vacation season has started, so we ended up a little short on shooters, especially the Juniors. We had  72 shooters and 20 reshoots for a total of 92 guns.

Here's the breakdown by division:

We had seven (7) new shooters this month: Leah Ware, Travis Leach, Tony DiNicola, Terry Burnett, Jason Hadsell, Zak Baer and Ken MacDonald.

I think I found out why we have so many shooters this year. It seems that someone has created a Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Crooked-Creek-Pratical-Pistol/179456858797498 

Pre-registration worked even better this month. I had 42 of the 52 shooters pre-registered for the 8AM squad. We still had some stragglers coming in late, but we were able to start shooting around 8:20. So, to help move things along next month, you will need to be in line by 7:30 to shoot in the 8:00 AM squad.  Don't think you can show up late and get squeezed in. With this many shooters coming in, we have to get moving on time.

If you are sure that you will be coming out to shoot on the 8AM squad, then send an email to registration_AT_practicalpistol_DOT_net with REGISTRATION as the subject and include your name, USPSA number, division, Major/Minor and indicate if you are Super Senior, Senior, Junior, Law, Military, Female or none of the above. Get your request in by 6:00 PM on the Saturday of the match weekend and I will have your scoresheet waiting for you on Sunday morning.
