Many of the thirty-one shooters, including myself, were wondering what that bright, warm thing up in the sky during our match was. If anyone has an answer, let us know. Congratulations to Bill Raines and Joe Culek for their first and second place finishes respectively. Rounding out the top five were Bob Almashie, Ed Henry, and Denny Michali.
A special thanks also to the Erie Squad led by Joe Kestner. We appreciate the support.
By the way Atto, everyone really liked the "Big Field Course" on the right. Maybe two stages on one side and a BIG ONE on the other is a good way to go for a while.
Next Meet
Our next TRW IPSC meet is scheduled for Sunday, June 14, 1998. Hope to see you there.
July Match
We are currently looking for an RO for the entire day or two ROs: one for the morning and one for the afternoon. The morning session starts at 7:30 and would go to about 11:00. The afternoon session would be from 11:00 to about 3:00. Any volunteers can call me, Frank Novak, at 440-257-4871. Thanks in advance for the help.
USPSA Pitch
Many of our local members are currently not members of the USPSA. Maybe this summer would be a good time to join. Supporting this national organization is a good idea, it helps strengthen our sport and allows members to get rated nationally. The membership is $30 per year and provides each person with the Front Sight magazine, In Touch newsletter, rulebook, and some patches and decals. Give it a thought. Worst fates have befallen mortal man.
