WOW! I thought I'd never get to the bottom of the stack. We had 57 shooters and 15 reshoots for a total of 72 guns. That's a new record for CCPL. Thanks very much to all who helped to set up and a special Thank You to the tear down crew of Greg Lane, Matt Birch, Ed Henry and Bud Connolly.

We had 14 new shooters this month, Tim Webb, Martin Delahunty, Don Tilel, Troy Hager, Evan Stevens, Art Hilgendorf, Robert Burcham, Jackie Greiner, Ray Srnick, David Tillett, Stuart Sarkisian, Roger Barker, Don Burkley and Scott Slapnick.

I want to thank David Tillett for the writeup he did on his first match at Crooked Creek. We hope to see all of the new shooters back again.

Our next match will be on Sunday, May 14th at Crooked Creek in Hartsgrove. That's Mother's Day, so all Moms shoot for free. We'll meet at 1:30 PM on Saturday, May 13th, so we can get on the range at 2:00 PM and you can shoot one gun after setup is complete. Signups for Sunday start at 8:00 AM with final registration at 1:00 PM.

I could also use a little help from the scorekeepers. Please add up the scores after each shooter. This will help in two ways. One, I don't have to spend an evening adding up all of the scores and you will see them on the web sooner. Two, I had to give a shooter two mikes because a target line was missed. Adding up the scores would have caught this. You wouldn't want two mikes added to your scoresheet, so consider how you would feel if that happened to you. And finally, there will be a penmanship class at the next match. Seriously though, try to write legibly on the scoresheets. Especially names and e-mail addresses. It doesn't take that long and it will help me to get the scores done quicker.
