Our third outdoor match, the special classifier, was a great success. Thirteen people joined USPSA and got a free match. There were 4 classifiers and they were not as easy as they looked. If you zero’d a stage it will not count toward the 4 classifers nessary to become classified. Welcome to several new shooters and several shooters who are new to us. Ken Olp and Ron Scott. Ken is a new USPSA shooter and Ron has done this before. Come again and have fun. It was nice to see Ken’s wife Ruth and get her to try the sport out. Maybe she will be shooting next month.

Congrats to Kevin Dale in Limited and Mike Martin in open (Mike’s new gun looks fast) but Kevin won the match overall.

            Our next match will be at TRW Rod and Gun in Hartsgrove on May 13^th this is the Second Saturday. There will be about a test stage in the match for the Area 8 in September at East Huntington (Pittsburgh).

The Area 8 match will be in September at East Huntington, Pa. This is the same range as the Limited Nationals will be shot at this year. The Limited Nationals will be on the 5^th weekend in July. There are very few slots for the Limited Nationals but the Area 8 is first come first serve. I believe the entry fee for the Area 8 will be about $85 to $95 for a 12 stage match. This range is about 2 hours east of our range at Hartsgrove. If you have any question call or E-mail me.

July (we may not have a match this month) 7:00AM setup and 8:00 AM start time. We can use help setting up in the morning and more help later in the day tearing down We will be shooting on the second Saturday of the month.
